Uvac Lake Meanders – a breathtaking nature of the reserve Uvac is one of the most beautiful places in Serbia and a top destination for true nature lovers. Uvac river forms the three lakes (Uvac, Zlatar and Radoinja) and we will visit one with the most beautiful meanders, take a kayak adventure (up to 5 hours with hiking) and enjoy the view in the Uvac canyon - one of the most beautiful viewpoints in Serbia. This place is also home to protected bird species - the griffon vulture and we are bound to see lots of these nature cleaners.

ITINERARY:

DAY ONE: Departure from Belgrade at 8am, around midday arrival at Zlatarsko lake, the largest lake formed by the Uvac River. Kayaking adventure of about 15 km, we discover beautiful beaches, pine and deciduous forests reflected in the crystal water of the lake, swimming and paddling. After kayaking, a break for a late lunch/dinner at a restaurant on the lake shore. About half an hour transfer to our accommodation (hotel/loges) at Zlatar mountain or 1h transfer to camp near the Uvac lake. Overnight.

DAY TWO: After breakfast, departure to the starting point of the kayaking adventure on Lake Uvac (camp near Sjenica). Kayak tour from the camp to the Uvac canyon (about 1.5 hours), hike to the viewpoint and enjoyment of nature (up to 1 hour). Return to the camp by kayaks and lunch break nearby. Return to Belgrade, where we arrive late in the evening (around 22:00).

Necessary equipment: change of dry clothes, hat, sunscreen, spare shoes, swimming and hiking gear, sandals for the first day, minimum 1.5 liters of water per day.
