Get ready for two day adventure of kayaking and hiking in West Serbia and amazing landscape of the Tara National Park 

This low key adventure during which you will be surrounded with breathtaking mountainous landscapes will take you back to the time when the Drina river used to be a wild, unpredictable mountain river, yet untamed by the Perucac lake. And then, a few hundred meters from the starting point of this adventure, you will stand in silent testimony to a spectacular natural attraction - where rivers spring, only 365 m long which is why it is also called the river "Year", in a series of three beautiful waterfalls flowing into the Drina river.

At the end of our adventure an unusual sight awaits for you - a miniature house in the midst of the Drina river, the photo of which seems to have circulated the Globe...Then we will do a hiking tour to the one of the most beautiful vantage points in Serbia - Banjska stena (Banjska Rock) where we will enjoy the Drina river canyon view. Additionally, we will visit Zaovine lake – a gem of the National Park Tara.At the very end a visit to Mokra Gora village and ethno wooden town Mecavnik created by a famous Serbian film director Emir Kusturica.

ITINERARY:

DAY 1:  Departure from Belgrade at 08 AM 
Arrival to the starting site between 11-11:30am, preparation of the equipment and the start of kayak adventure with breaks in beautiful surroundings. Duration of adventure is around 3 hours of the joys of kayaking. Lunch is organized in restaurant with a view on the unique attraction of the area -the house on rock in the middle of the river Drina. Departure to Mitrovac and reaching our accommodation. Free time. dinner and overnight stay

DAY 2:  After breakfast hiking tour to the viewpoint Banjska stena. Lunch on Mitrovac. Visit to Zaovine lake and swimming provided the weather is nice. After Zaovine lake departure to Mokra Gora and visit to Mecavnik (Wooden Town created by a famous Serbian film director Emir Kusturica). Departure to Belgrade. Arrival in Belgrade at around 10 PM

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

- Who can come along?  all adventurers who want a new life adventure and want to get to know another one in a series of lakes or rivers from a different angle; prior experience is not necessary. The programme is particularly suitable for companies and team building, small groups, friends and families

- Transport: Organized transport from Belgrade (optional another location) and return the starting point

- Food: Lunch (traditional Serbian cuisine) is included in the price, please indicate if you have any special dietary requirements

- Equipment: a change of dry clothes for after the adventure , a hat, a sun tan lotion, spare pair of footwear, swimming gear

- Enviromental issues - Please keep your litter with you and throw it away in designated areas or dustbins

- Notes: Depending on the weather, programme schedule is subject to minor changes.
